White Sands National Monument

The White Sands National Monument, near Alamogordo, New Mexico is a gigantic sea of sparkling white gypsum. Also known as one of the world's natural wonders, the glistening white sand covers nearly 300 square miles. The great wavelike dunes of gypsum are very unique in the country and are known for their dazzling beauty and gorgeous views.
