A Visit to Siena AND Sunday In Cortona

Siena is arguably the most beautiful medieval city in Italy. Florence's greatest historical rival, Siena has preserved intact its original appearance and its very unique traditions. We just missed the annual "Palio" horserace held in the Piazza del Campo. This gallery also contains photos of the beautiful city of Cortona on Sunday when the Cardinal was visiting the local church.
